Virginia Mattress Recycling Invoice Advances   – Worldwide Sleep Merchandise Affiliation

In Virginia, an ISPA-supported mattress recycling invoice (VA HB 86) handed a flooring vote of the total Virginia Home of Delegates 67–30. This week, HB 86 was heard earlier than the Senate Agriculture, Conservation, and Pure Assets Committee, which voted (9 Y-5 N) to report and refer HB 86 to the Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee. For HB 86 to make it to Governor Spanberger’s desk for her consideration, it should clear a vote within the Senate Finance and Appropriations Committee and a flooring vote within the Virginia State Senate.
