Massachusetts EPR Fee Convenes Assembly on Mattress Recycling – Worldwide Sleep Merchandise Affiliation
ISPA offered the Mattress Recycling Council’s program on the June 18th assembly of the Massachusetts Prolonged Producer Accountability Fee. The assembly was convened by the Massachusetts Division of Environmental Safety (DEP) pursuant to a regulation handed in November 2024. MRC’s program was effectively acquired, and the Fee will launch its official suggestions on mattress prolonged producer duty at its July 16th assembly. It’s anticipated given the unofficial straw ballot on the finish of the assembly, that the Fee will suggest the MRC program and harmonization with the present states working it.
